Broadening the Wine Landscape with Zachary Marcus Cesare Harris

Zachary Marcus Cesare Harris, IkaVina Wines and Spirits owner joined The Wine Concierge's Wine Lovers Wednesday on April 21.  Zach encourages people to expand their wine horizon.  Move beyond the traditional "old world" French wine landscape and try regions like Italy, Portugal and  Argentina is his wine mantra.  The wine world is vast and too many people focus on the same regions.  Wine is meant to be explored and enjoyed.

Zack's interest in wine began in the early 2000's. His love and passion for wine have taken me to Italy, Spain and Portugal numerous times for trade shows and smaller junkets, and allowed him to be exposed to, learn about, and meet producers of wines from those countries as well as Greece, Macedonia, France, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Georgia, Lebanon, Hungary, Israel, South Africa, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Zack's specialty is Italian wine. His travels to  Portugal and Spain are becoming other areas of focus for him.

IkaVina Wines is a small wine label focusing on Italian produced wines. The wines are mostly from northern Italy in the Vento region.

Hold on to your wigs.  Zack is very comfortable in his statements.  He provides an interesting perspective on men and wine. Grad your favorite wine, you will definitely want to take a few sips during this Wine Lovers Wednesday.
